CaribZone Commentary - Tracking Coronavirus Around the World
By Aubrey Campbell
NEW YORK, NY. Wednesday, April 15, 2020 –
Good day and hoping that while you were at home, you took the time to reflect
on the ‘holy day’ and its relevance in our lives at this time.
Please continue to practice social distancing because
as we try to figure out this edition of the global pandemic, the messaging is
becoming more complex and confusing on many fronts.
Last week, experts spent the time second-guessing a
timetable for the reopening of the economy, or if you prefer, getting back to
business as usual, as well as the disgusting reality of the racial disparity
among the thousands lost to the pandemic.
Be warned, New York is at the epicenter for reasons
foreign to you and me, but not for too much longer. The truth will be told as
the mystery unravels in the days and weeks, ahead!
You have to be able to read between the lines and
lying lips, when they say that China won the third world war without firing a
single bullet.
God help us and these conspiracy theorists!
That second-guessing has to do with what some say is a
second wave of the virus that could strike back like a boomerang in the Fall –
the colder months – as deadly and malicious as this first wave, if not
deadlier!
And that is to say, as big and as bad as orange-haired
Donald Trump thinks he is, the best campaign platform he will get is the one
set up for him in the Rose Garden, right there in the middle of the swamp, on
the hill.
The only reason why Mr. Trump is pushing so hard for
America and Americans to ‘get back to work’ is that it has everything to do
with his re-election bid, and the longer this thing lingers, the slimmer his
chances at the polls.
Let’s be clear, a phased reopening of the country,
puts everyone at risk. This COVID19 is airborne, damn it!
So, when will we see a return to normal life, or
should I say some return? One thing is certain and that is, going forward, it
will not be life and business as usual!
At the rate folks are dying, you have to look at
everyone in your space as having the virus and that changes the equation,
royally.
Here’s where we are. Either all 300 million of us
getting tested for the virus or wearing facial covering in public becoming the new
norm, no exception!
The other matter I want to raise has to do with the
pandemic economics. Here it is that the ‘Feds’ can find the money to offer some
relief to nearly all the sectors of the society, or so it seems on paper, yet
universal healthcare remains a fleeting fancy for the average, hardworking
American.
How is that?
My learned colleague, who shall remain anonymous for
this exercise, says its new money that the government is printing and somebody
will have to pay. I think he stopped short of saying that that ‘somebody’ is
you and i.
The delivery of healthcare or lack thereof, no doubt
is a critical contributor to the disparity in the number of persons from the
minority communities who make up the majority of the dead.
Both Andrew Cuomo and Bill DeBlasio noted it in their presentations.
Holding them accountable should not be difficult as they both harbor big
political ambitions!
Quid pro quo is not impeachable! Say after me…!
LMAO…!
Folks, all across this great country, our community is
in mourning because this pandemic is dangerous and malicious. Blacks and
Latinos from marginal communities are dying in greater numbers than other
ethnic groups, which means that something is wrong with the delivery of
healthcare in these United States, so I urge you to make that an agenda item
for this November!
Please, do not be fooled by the pandemic economics you
hear coming out of the nation’s capital. There is no money to buy you
affordable healthcare but there is money to buy you out of a pandemic that was
predicted to happen, to the day, month and year!
George Walker Bush said it and Barack Hussein Obama
confirmed it. So, why are we here now in this pickle of a pandemic?
How is that?
Stay strong, be safe!
You have the floor.

The day elected officials stop getting the best healthcare there is, that's paid for by the same taxpayers who are denied affordable healthcare, is the day universal healthcare passes both the House and the Senate.
