 Dear fellow Jamaicans, as a Republican, I am invited to various functions to rub shoulders with the Republican deal makers. For example, they meet at the Saratoga race track upstate to make deals. They even meet at the president’s hotels. Money gets access to these events. For example, last year I was at a function in NYC, where people were dropping $10,000 for a likkle plate ah food.

At these events, nothing about Marcus Garvey is discussed; I need your help to introduce him.
I have set up a Go Fund Me page to raise money to drop at these functions, and to place ads in various newspapers and television to appeal to President Trump to pardon Marcus Garvey. Some will say they have nothing to do with the President or Republicans. Yet, they will fight deportation with their last breath. In short, dem nuh want fi leave America.

My point is to say, sit down on dem “idiot argument” and let’s do what we need to do to get our food or to get our interest taken care of. We had a Black Democratic president and he was afraid to mention Marcus Garvey’s name, much less that he was Black President. He also took care of other people’s business with gay marriage. Trump, on the other hand, is pardoning those who let off the right change, those who are loyal to him, and those who others say are criminals. (Him a guh win again. )

October 29, 2020 --- The Awards Ceremony to announce the winners of the recently held Team Jamaica Bickle (TJB) Inaugural Virtual 5K Run/Walk, was held on Sunday October 25, 2020. The organization which had since 2011 held its annual 5K Run/Walk at Baisley Pond Park, Queens New York (NY) made the transition to the virtual space this year due to the Covid-19 Pandemic. Water problem in St Ann. A letter to the editor.

Dear Editor,            I am writing to Mr. Ian Bell and Lisa Hanna, to say that Fern Gully has been a top tourist attraction in Jamaica even before either you or I were born. However, the gully will continue to decline as a tourist attraction if water problems persists in the surrounding communities of Colgate and Breadnut Hill.  From as far back as 1989, when my grandfather died, water has been a big problem for these two districts; the pump-house in Terry needs a modern pump and pipes, capable of increasing water capacity.  The National Water Commission (NWC) continues to do too little, if anything, to improve the existing system. Having no access to a well-developed piped water system, the residents of these communities seek work in Fern Gully, clearing the lush green vegetation in hopes of starting small businesses which seldom result in gainful employment.  An investment in supplying effective piped water to these communities will simultaneously reduce the stress on
